Congratulations to the NEW Club. We started operating as the Dedicated Artists of Southwest Florida Inc on July 1, 2019. Our goals focus on painting education and philanthropy.
The 2019 Program Year had a wonderful collection of programs and seminars. Members and guests learned about watercolor, acrylic, oils, and mixed media. Thanks to all teachers and participants who made it so successful. DASF awarded a scholarship to a high school senior to pursue the study of visual arts in college, provided memory boxes to many bereaved mothers, and painted suitcases for the Children's Network. DASF also is a strong supporter of the Harry Chapin Food Bank with cash gifts each quarter and food donations monthly.
It was a good painting year. The Dedicated Artists (DASF) had an amazing Winter Luncheon that was most successful due to efforts put forth by members and community supporters. This fund raiser provides art education for members and supports philanthropic efforts in the community.
