Feather Painting...
The travel teacher SEMINAR brought to you for 2023 uses an unusual canvas.
These natural feathers are beautiful and can provide the blank slate for a variety of paintings. They are delicate and need some prior preparation before you begin to paint.
This adorable Burrowing Owl pair was created by special request just for us. As you know, Cape Coral is noted for its many owls that intrigue and entertain us. Learn the basic steps of painting on a feather from Cindy as you create your own owl pair. You may decide to design your own feather in the future!

What an amazing day of "member appreciation"! Cindy Makowski, travel teacher, led over 40 painters to successfully paint a special design honoring the Burrowing Owls of Cape Coral on a feather. Feather painting is easier than expected with Cindy instructing step-by-step. The day-of-appreciation included a 'Fabulous Feathers' themed contest, winning centerpieces, and a great boxed lunch. Thank you to all who made it happen and to all those who attended.
