2022 REVIEW
The Year 2023 was a great year for recovery. The generosity of members and the painting community got our members who suffered huge losses from Hurricane Ian back on the track to painting. Much appreciated supplies were directed to restock the studio art rooms.
Programs presented each month were top notch in quality and variety. New members joined bringing more energy to the club and also more new members as word spread of just how excellent the club is. As a nonprofit we are dedicated to community service and building social networks through artistic expression. Our Memory Boxes for families who have lost infants are absolutely beautiful and something the family can cherish for a lifetime. Support for Harry Chapin Food Bank continues. Suitcases for Foster Children lost our most prolific supporter when Jenne Williams passed away in October.
Our 7th Annual Gallery Art Show at the Cape Coral Library was visited by many in the community during September and October when we filled the walls and showcases with over 100 pieces of art. It was the largest show they have had.
Once again our artist-teachers made a great showing with art submitted for a catalog of projects for 2024. It was filled with over 30 projects of the most beautiful artwork. It made us sad that we can feature only 10 of those projects during the 2024 painting year. We know 'it takes a village' and work together to create a great, friendly club that welcomes everyone.
