BORROWING FROM NATURE’S PALETTE!

These analagous colors that lay next to each other on a color wheel mimic a Florida sunset against a blue sky. The 12-inch canvas used in this program has a trompe-l’oeil frame that completely fools the eye. Beth is a master of this “Candle-Waxing” technique that uses common white candles and coarse sandpaper. Learn to candle wax and you will want to use it in your future projects…

This special Member Appreciation program fully engaged members who enjoyed learning all of Cathy’s techniques including the hombre background, the easy forest that gave such depth to her paint-by-number teaching style that brought success to painters. Hostesses brought great snacks and the board provided pizza from Luciano’s was delicious.

What a wonderful way to build your painting skills. With a group of excellent teachers leading members through a different program every month, follow the New Year’s resolution  and you will be a much better painter with a group of great painting friends. Bring a friend and we promise to make them feel welcome. Guests are always welcome!
