ILLEGAL TO PICK UP FEATHERS!

These chattering and aggressive blue birds range from Canada to Florida. Feathers are beautiful, appearing with lavender, mid-blue, sky blue, white and black. Black patterns on the face and neck vary widely helping individuals recognize each other.

The position of the crest that varies from flat to fully raised to bristling outwards can tell a lot about the birds mood. Jays face a variety of predators including hawks that find them easy prey due to their slow flying habits. Squirrels, cats, crows, and raccoons are threats to jays while eating or nesting in trees. This special Member Appreciation program fully engaged members who enjoyed learning all of Cathy’s techniques including the hombre background, the easy forest that gave such depth to her paint-by-number teaching style that brought success to painters. Hostesses brought great snacks and the board provided pizza from Luciano’s was delicious.
