Dealing with Stress…This interesting art form is a study in contrasts. It uses the contrasts of black and white, is beginner friendly yet creative, is structured by rules yet there are no mistakes.

Repetitive patterns decrease stress while increasing your creative focus. It is a great introductory art form for beginners and at the same time encourages creativity that is almost addictive.

Done in classic black on white, it can be even more dramatic when done in white on black. Learn the “Basics of Zentangles” with Valerie and see what the excitement is all about

  • NO Brushes needed as “painting” is done with 2-pens

PALETTE:

  • NOTE: teacher will supply the palette
  • BLACK Micron Pen    …05 Fine Black Sakura Micron Pen
  • WHITE Gel Pen       …05 Fine Gelly Roll White Gen Pen

SUPPLIES:

  • Eraser …Valerie likes the kneaded kind that does not damage paper
  • Pencil
  • Colored Pencils (Gray & White) …use on darker paper for shading
  • Q-tips
