Jackie Marth –
“Painting the Past”

Snowbird, Jackie, is active in the art community splitting her time between summers in Minnesota and winters here in Fort Myers. She has been a member of the Dedicated Artists of Southwest Florida for a long time, receiving the Golden Brush Award in 2000 honoring her contributions to DASF. She currently serves on the Board of Directors as a Vice-President.

Jackie, always generous with her time, is a sought after teacher for DASF members. Her art is selected annually in the DASF juried competiton.

Jackie is also a member of the Estero Art League which is a public charity. In a recent competition her original art work was chosen for the cover of the Estero Art League brochure. The painting is based on a photo taken at Koreshan State Park. The painter & easel seen in the foreground is from a photo of Jackie taken by her husband!
