The Call of the Sea…
Daily life is a series of endless distractions and constant input.

Channel your sense of calm as you paint this beautiful distant sailing ship and play of light where tide water meets sand and brings to mind living life on one’s own terms. Its also an opportunity to perfect your techniques for painting that wet sand.The color and contrast of the sea against the rocks using impressionistic strokes is simple but powerful.

I must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky is a poem that comes to mind in this “Lonely Sail” painting by Gerri. You will certainly enjoy learning her techniques…
