Oil Rouging…
The travel teacher SEMINAR brought to you for 2024 will use canvas paper for your art work.
Rouging is a technique of adding color washes to pen and ink designs. Rather than paint in color, a small amount of paint is applied and is then blended out or rouged much like applying make up. This creates a wonderfully soft, subtle effect …reminiscent of the richness of antique tin-type.

Each completed project will be unique as students will combine the tube colors to create personal color mixes and can apply colors with a strong to delicate touch.

Join your painting friends in this easy and fun MEMBER APPRECIATION program. Included is a FREE Box Lunch and the BEACH HAT Contest! Any type of head gear, hats, caps, visors, tams, etc is allowed.

Win one of three $15 GIFT CARDs! “Beach Hat” Contest winners will be judged as

  • Most Beautiful

February PHOTO Gallery
What a wonderful birthday celebration for the Dedicated Artists as DASF turned 5-years old! Incorporated on February 26, 2019, members celebrated with gifts, awards, a delicious lunch, an amazing cake and a seminar taught by Marilyn Kerr, travel teacher from Sarasota. Check out “Beach Hat” photos – those participants sure raised the bar on how to decorate! One hat even sported a fishing pole…

It was a fun day to enjoy. Thanks go to Marilyn for teaching, to the board for all the work done to bring it all together and to all the members who attended.

Painting instruction/fellowship for members + community service = a great club to belong to. Keep inviting your guests. We know how to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated.
