Gerri is an artist who creates free hand, one of a kind works of art such as this ornament. They are very popular in the retail shops around holiday time.Gerri will be sharing this technique with you. Margot Clark is the creator of a patented glass texture medium called MUD. While ornaments make beautiful and extraordinary gifts, dimensional paste is not limited to ornaments.

You will be supplied one FREE surface to work on but should also bring other small objects to decorate. Small basecoated wood ornaments, glass, metal containers, or even china plates are some “creative surfaces” suggested.

SURFACE:

• Creative Surface (BRING YOUR OWN)
• Bring a CREATIVE SURFACE of your own choosing as a small second surface to work on. Wood, glass, ceramic or metal can be used. Trash to treasure is always fun so check out the re-sale shops or maybe find an out-of-season markdown at OldTyme Pottery or other.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• “Creative Surfaces” may need to be base coated at home. If you want to paint a RED wood heart or a PINK wood egg basecoat at home so your color is dry. You can also work on the natural surface if you want galvanized metal as your background or the ceramic plate design to show.
