Texture…

It is all about texture in this wonderful old door.

Leaves, flowers, wood panels and a stucco wall all come to life as you apply your paints with a knife.

You will be amazed as this painting takes shape with the strokes and dabs. You will want to do more after learning this way to paint. And the bonus is there are no brushes to clean when you are done!

SURFACE:

• If you use a painter’s choice surface you will need a 6×8 area to accommodate the pattern.
• FREE:   This program includes a FREE 6×8 canvas panel surface.

• Heavy Body Acrylic Paints …(Tube Paint)
• White
• Black
• Brown
• Greens
• Blues
• Reds
• Purples
• Oranges
• Yellows
• Many Choices will be available

BRUSHES:

• Palette Knife (Debbie prefers small metal – plastic is a bit thick/stiff for this project) (see photo below for size)

SUPPLIES:

• Palette Paper Pad
• OR
• Approximate 9×12 freezer paper wrapped cardboard (need a STIFF surface and the freezer paper shiny side up – NO wax paper)
• Palette Knife (see photo below for size)
• LOTS of Paper Towels …Baby Wipes optional AND highly recommended is a plastic bag (Publix type) to receive the yukky, full of paint, paper towels. Did we mention this is a messy project?
