Meeting at Cape Coral Art League

Acrylic
TROPICAL TOUCAN
                                                              with Madonna Williams

Cool Color

Color painted over black always appears dull so light colors are painted first. Brush mixing creates the wonderful variety of foliage that brings interest to the design. A variety of leaf patterns will be available to choose from. Each painter’s art will be unique. Negative painting will help make the leaves ‘pop’.

Toucan beaks are a bit like fingerprints showing lots of variations. While toucan beaks are large they are quite light due to air spaces. Toucan habitat is in the tropical rain-forests of South America. The toucan is a fun bird to paint!
