2023 Project SUBMISSIONS
Portable Art…Art Poles are an impactful way to welcome guests to your studio or bring beautiful artwork to your landscape. Available in many sizes with retail prices ranging from fifty to hundreds of dollars, you will be creating a whimsical design with wonderful bright colors to bring you years of enjoyment.Art poles are a fun way to display portable art and can be used indoors and out where they generally will last for several years. Acrylic paint does not adhere well to PVC so surfaces will be prepared in advance with a product that cures in 7-days and will allow the acrylic paint to bond without flaking or peeling.
Choose to paint this program on a FREE canvas or a prepped art pole available for $15 that includes a FREE cap topper and a wood base.

SURFACE CHOICES:
- FREE 16×20 canvas

- $15 Art Pole / Pole Cap (Pre-Order / Pre-Pay ONLY) …club will reimburse $2.00 to those members painting in person
SURFACE PREPARATION:
- Art Poles will be 24-inches tall and come prepared with an acrylic-friendly finish
- Students must coat Poles with DuraCoat Satin Varnish to make them outdoor safe.

- Cadmium Yellow
- Orange Flame
- Sapphire Blue (optional)
- Sea Breeze
- Sour Apple
- True Red
- Warm White
- DuraClear Matte or Satin Varnish (Polyurethane)
BRUSHES:
- 1/2-inch Flat, required for painting checks
- Your favorite Rounds and Angles
- Dry Brush
SUPPLIES:
- Ruler
- Black Marker (Ideti-Pen or Fine Sharpie)
- Masking Tape
- Transfer Paper, Black
- Scissors, to cut out various designs
- Black Marker, Sharpie or Iden-T-Pen suggested
- Usual supplies
- Tracing Paper (19 x 24-inch), provided
