Only in Paradise…

The focus of this program is a small garden friend as we enjoy the subtropical weather and gathering with our returning snowbird friends. Only in the ‘Paradise’ of SW Florida do we find beautiful, tropical weather coupled with wonderful art.

Suzanne combines organic and inorganic shapes in this painting with strong contrast and a surprising splash of color. It brings the painting to life!

The sweet little bird is feathered with directional strokes to give him his shape. And notice how your eye is immediately drawn to the focal point of the painting. Even the background has wonderful texture! What a great way to start off the new year. Painting with Suzanne is always a treat.

Jam packed with how-to’s, Suzanne led painters to create a textured background with sponging, giving shape to a faucet with directional strokes, shading and highlighting, painting an adorable little bird and using various shades of green for some vines. Everyone created a unique piece. Everyone went home with new skills. And everyone had a great time. Thank you Suzanne!
